BUSINESS SUMMIT 2026
NEW YORK CITY

Two days. One track. The room where the podcasting industry meets itself.
ABOUT PODCAST MOVEMENT
Built for podcasters who take their work seriously.
Podcast Movement is built for podcasters who treat their work seriously and want to make it matter more.
This is not an introduction to podcasting. It is where independent producers, network creators, video-first podcasters, audio-first podcasters, and working professionals come to refine the craft they have already built. Sharpen the writing. Tighten the production.
Grow the business. Hone the work that makes a show worth listening to.
Two full days. Multiple concurrent tracks. Sessions all day. Live podcast recordings at night. And a speaker lineup assembled through a process designed to put the best ideas on stage, not just the most familiar names.

What to Expect
Multi-track programming, all day long.
Dozens of sessions across multiple concurrent tracks, spanning every discipline that matters to a working creator: craft, growth, monetization, production, distribution, community, video, and the business of running a show. Whether you’re six months in or six years in, you’ll find tracks that meet you where you are.
The most diverse lineup in podcasting.
We’re building this deliberately for the entire podcast creator audience. You’ll hear from and meet creators of color, creators from underserved communities, creators working in niches the conference circuit usually overlooks, and creators at every stage of their journey. Not as a gesture. As the whole point. (More on how we’re doing that below.)
Live podcast recordings at night.
Each evening features live recordings from creators on the schedule. It’s a chance to see how your favorite shows actually get made, and to be part of the audience that makes them sing.
The community that built Podcast Movement.
Hallway conversations, meal-time introductions, hands-on workshops, and the unmistakable energy of a room full of people who love this medium and want to push it forward.
Tickets
General Admission is just $199
Two full days of programming. All tracks, all sessions, all networking. Access to every live podcast recording in the evenings as an audience member.
Call for Speakers
Podcast Movement New York is built around an open call for speakers, and the selection process is designed to be fair, transparent, and genuinely welcoming to first-time conference speakers.
Anyone can submit a session. You don’t need a big show, a big following, or a big résumé. You need something worth saying and a clear sense of who will benefit from hearing it.
Half the sessions on the schedule will be chosen by popular vote. The other half will be chosen by a community selection committee using a published rubric that prioritizes diversity of voice, perspective, and background alongside quality of content.
Submissions are handled through Sessionize — the same platform used by major conferences worldwide.
How speakers are selected
We want to be clear about how this works, because the process is the point.
50%
Community Vote
Once the submission window closes, every eligible session will be published in a panel picker format. Anyone can vote. Registered attendees get more votes than non-registered voters, because the people who’ve committed to being in the room have the strongest stake in what happens on stage. The top sessions by vote count fill half the program.
50%
Selection Committee
The other half of the program is chosen by a community committee using a published rubric. Submissions are reviewed blind in the first round (no names, no bios, no audience metrics) so ideas are evaluated on their own merit. In the second round, the committee will apply a representation rubric developed with equity consultant Dr. Byron Green-Calisch to ensure the full program reflects the breadth of voices in this industry.
We are especially committed to making space for independent podcasters of color and creators from underserved communities whose perspectives have been historically underrepresented on podcasting stages. The committee review process is structured specifically to ensure those voices have a prominent place on the schedule, not as an afterthought, but as a core design principle of the event.
This is the most important programming decision we’ll make this year. We’re not hiding how it works.
